Things have been busy, we've recently developed and finished several mobile applications:

Native iPhone app, made right here in Whistler

We're putting the finishing touches on our first native iPhone and iPad app (also build-ready for Android). More details as it's made available in the iTunes store.

Cardinal Commerce and Authorize.net Virtuemart payment module

We have recently completed development of an integration between Cardinal Commerce and Authorize.net for Virtuemart. This solution allows Verified by Visa and SecureCode verification prior to Authorize.net payment completion.

The module requires no Virtuemart hacks and works as a seemless part of the existing Virtuemart checkout process.

Please get in touch to find out more about this payment module.

Drupal content to iPhone using JQTouch

We recently were asked to help with a project which effectively enabled CMS content to be made available through an iPhone application.

Drupal was chosen for the CMS application due to it's flexible content type ability. We worked with JQTouch and wrote custom javascript using JQuery to pull content via JSON using a custom Drupal theme which means all the content is accessible via a remote call. Pages are loaded and cached locally on the iPhone and displayed already formatted for the screen size.

Joomla, Virtuemart and Verified by Visa (VbV)

We have been working on a large project for the last 6 months which has presented a huge array of puzzling questions around some elements of Joomla. The largest of which was integrating a Verified by Visa system within a custom payment gateway in Virtuemart.

Amazingly it seems there are few people on the Internet who have successfully managed to create a VbV integration and it's no surprise - the entire checkout process for Virtuemart assumes an undistrupted process, the VbV system stops that by redirecting to a third party site half way through the payment process.

95north Redesign

Welcome to the new 95north.ca site. It's been a while coming but we finally found time away from client work to update our portfolio, full range of services and give everything a bit of a cleaner look.

We'll be using this section to update with new and ongoing projects, technical information learned from them and things to avoid the next time around.

Take a look around!
